Most of what changed at Metro Centre at Owings Mills over the past year shares one street address. A sushi bar, a bakery café, a dental practice and a Creole restaurant still in progress have all taken suites at 10309 Grand Central Avenue since late 2025. Across the street, the Owings Mills Branch of Baltimore County Public Library has posted more fall programs with specific dates than any other part of the development.
So this fall, Metro Centre works best as one block. Eat at 10309, cross to the library for a scheduled program, and the evening options are a short walk along the same avenue.
David S. Brown Enterprises, the developer behind Metro Centre, announced a set of 2026 leases in November 2025. It named Paris Baguette and Miss Toya's Creole House as planned openings, noted that ChiiMii Sushi & Sando had recently opened, and listed Royalty Dental for 2026. Ten months later, most of that list has moved from announced to operating. Here is where each business stands, by suite.
| Suite at 10309 Grand Central Ave. | Tenant | Status as of late September 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| 102 | ChiiMii Sushi & Sando & Omakase Bar | Open since November 2025 |
| 112 | Royalty Dental | Grand opening and ribbon cutting held August 7, 2026 |
| 114–116 | Miss Toya's Creole House | Liquor license transfer approved January 12, 2026; developer target is 2026 |
| 120–122 | Paris Baguette | Soft-opened April 20, 2026 |
ChiiMii was officially open by November 12, 2025, in Suite 102. Paris Baguette followed in spring with a Friends & Family opening on Sunday, April 19, and a soft opening the next day. The center's own directory still labels both Paris Baguette and Royalty Dental "Coming Soon," even though the developer's April notice and the August ribbon-cutting listing show both are open. The directory is running behind the businesses.
The pending suite has the most detail in its paper trail. At its January 12, 2026 hearing, Baltimore County's liquor board approved a license transfer and premises expansion for Miss Toya's Creole House of Owings Mills, LLC at Suites 114–116. The license transferred from Curry & Spice Bar's former space in Suite 114. The developer's announcement gives the target only as "2026," with no month. The license approval shows the project is moving forward. It does not mean the restaurant is serving yet.
Together, those four suites mean one building now covers sushi and an omakase bar, a bakery café and a dental office, with a Creole restaurant on the way.
The new suites joined a roster that was mostly in place before this year. The developer's November 2025 tenant list included The Tillery, Hook & Reel, Toastique, World of Beer, Bee Inspired Goods, Club Pilates, Eggspectation and Kung Fu Tea. No 2026 closures turned up among those names. Several of them are still running their regular programming. Eggspectations has a Wednesday-night BOGO pizza special on the Metro Centre calendar for September 30. Hook & Reel lists karaoke every Friday from 7 to 11 p.m., with no ticket needed.
The Tillery is the full-service American restaurant inside the Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre at 10101 Grand Central Avenue. The 229-room hotel also has a lobby bar and a Starbucks. Parking is the same wherever you're headed: the free garage has 2,089 spaces, entrances from Grand Central Avenue and I-795, and EV charging stations.
Metro Centre's events page has plenty of restaurant specials. The fall programs with fixed dates and start times, though, mostly come from the Owings Mills Branch library at 10302 Grand Central Avenue. That is the address on the branch's event listings. Metro Centre's own site lists the library and the Community College of Baltimore County campus together at 10300 Grand Central Avenue, with 80,000 square feet for the library and 40,000 for the college. The branch's posted programs through November:
Three of the six are Saturday afternoons and two are Thursday evenings. That timing pairs well with the restaurants across the street. A Saturday workshop can end with a late lunch at ChiiMii or a pastry stop at Paris Baguette. The Thursday book club and mixer both let out at 7:30, early enough for dinner at the hotel or the restaurants along the avenue.
A business partner adds the one costume night on the calendar. ReWax & UnWine at 10209 Grand Central Avenue, Suite 116, is hosting a ticketed Costumes & Candles Halloween party on Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Plaza at Metro Centre's page describes concert series, movie nights under the stars, fall festivals, farmers markets and winter festivities, and points visitors to the events schedule. That schedule does not yet list dates for any of those plaza events this season.
The holiday season shows the same gap. Metro Centre billed its 2025 Tree Lighting & Holiday Market as an annual event and announced it on November 18 last year. As of September 30, no 2026 date has been posted. Based on last year's timing, an announcement in mid-November would be on schedule. Until then, the plaza's fall is a plan without dates. The library and the restaurants have dates.
For an evening performance this fall, the Gordon Center for Performing Arts at 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue fills the gap the plaza leaves. Mandolinist Sierra Hull plays Saturday, October 17, at 8 p.m. That is the same day as the library's sugar skull workshop, so an afternoon on Grand Central Avenue and a concert that night fit into one Saturday. The next evening, Sunday, October 18, Charm City Jazz presents Regina Belle with her full band at 7 p.m., with Marcus Mitchell and Marcus Young opening.
Metro Centre's next addition will also be on Grand Central Avenue. An Element by Marriott hotel is planned for 10100 Grand Central Avenue, directly across from the existing Marriott. It will have 120 rooms and 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Metro Centre's site says 2027, and a June 2026 Baltimore Business Journal preview names October 2027 as the target.
Larger plans remain on paper. The site still lists North Campus at 5018 Painters Mill Road as "Proposed," with up to three office towers and more than 46,000 square feet of retail. Over the next year, any new retail is more likely to show up in the Element hotel's ground floor and in Suites 114–116 at 10309, once Miss Toya's sets an opening date.
New restaurants and a planned hotel on the same avenue change what buyers see when they compare Owings Mills addresses.
